An official Braid soundtrack →
Lately there have been precious few games that really linger with me after I’ve finished them and moved on. Braid is one of the scant few, and the soundtrack is a massive reason why. Fully streamable from Magnatune for free, but you can also pay to join and download.

I Got Blisters on My Fingers!
I know that I’m way late to the party, but I had my first full playthrough of Beatles RB and wanted to kick in my two cents. One of my most secretly hidden shames is that I didn’t particularly like the Beatles, or at least I hadn’t heard much of them aside from a few of the inescapable songs like Hey Jude or Imagine. None of the deeper cuts, and I didn’t really listen to...

{Forum Trawling} Year of the PS3
YoungHav: lol @ the people that can't admit PS3 outclassed 360 when it came to games this year. Next yr will be a better yr for the 360 than this one.
Karma: LOL @ the people that can`t admit McDonalds outclassed Burger King when it came to food this year. I mean I don't think that Burger King or the Taco Bell have an exclusive lineup that can rival Big Mac, Big N Tasty, Double Quarter Pounder, Egg McMuffin, McNuggets and Filet-O-Fish. And the really impressive thing is how many different kinds of items there are in that list.

Clash of Genres
I’m an hour into Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes for the DS, and so far the game is way better than a game with that generic title really deserves to be. The comparisons to the JRPG-and-Bejeweled mashup Puzzle Quest are totally apt, and just like chocolate and peanut butter, the two great tastes contained here do indeed taste great together. By layering RPG and battle elements on top of...

Make Us Whole Again
Contrary to my previous post, I have actually been picking up the occasional new game here and there. My most recent acquisition was Dead Space: Extraction, which is a really brilliant little Wii title that got saddled with a ton of unnecessary Internet drama. (Not that any Internet drama has ever been necessary since Al Gore invented the World Wide Web.) As the third-party lightgun spinoff of a...

The Backlog Challenge
Do you typically buy bottles of beer and leave them half-finished? Partially guzzled, sitting on countertops and TV trays and magazine covers? Would you buy a Happy Meal and not finish your French fries, thus making it a Only-Mildly-Happy Meal? I end up doing this very same practice with video games, which is funny because the average game costs about 30 bottles of beer or 8 Happy Meals. (Wait,...
