Of all the DS game publishers, Atlus seems to be the only one that consistently rewards its fans with compelling reservation extras. Even with The Dark Spire, Atlus managed to make the otherwise mediocre first-person dungeon crawler an almost worthwhile purchase by bundling in its amazing soundtrack.
Take note, small game publishers! Big publishers should pay attention, too. Real talk, that Dragon Quest IX Slime hat bonus limited to Best Buy’s Reward Zone Gamers Club members is laaammee (so says Lumpy Space Princess).
